Situated on a gentle N-facing slope on the S edge of a small stream. Shown on the 1838 OS 6-inch map as a rectangular enclosure (max. dims. c. 50m NW-SE; c. 40m NE-SW). Not visible at ground level. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wicklow' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997).
