Holy well in Millockstown — Report the wrong picture

Holy wells are ritual sites where water becomes a bridge between human desire and unknown force. In Millockstown, County Louth, that bridge may still stand hidden beneath soil, moss or memory. People may have knelt there, poured oil, dropped coins or prayed for children, cattle or courage. The well does not need a museum label to be real; it needs only clean water, shadow and witness.
