Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Dryden Mains as Long Cist(s) (early Medieval). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 10m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.

Long cist; early Medieval. A small burial chamber typically covered with a capstone, significant as a rare surviving example of early Christian funerary architecture in the region.
