Recorded by Coleman (1916, 182-3) as 'on the north side of the promontory on which stands the Old Spanish fort (Jamesfort) (CO112-036---). No visible surface trace. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 2: East and South Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1994).
