Readings are taken at 10:00 a.m. in the Winter and 9:00 am in the Summer and are reported to the Meteorological Office. Recorded plaque organisation: City of Bradford Metropolitan Council.
The Bradford Meteorological Station, established in 1908, has continuously contributed daily weather data, significantly aiding meteorological research and weather forecasting in the region.
