Shown on 1842 OS 6-inch map as settlement cluster named Meenoughter. Three residential houses remain, one in ruins. Second is a T-shaped, 1-storey, structure of 4 bays with a corrugated iron roof and off-centre chimney toright; off-centre doorway to left. Third dwelling is a thatched 4-bay, 1-storey structure (long axis E-W); E side half-hipped, W side hipped; off-centre chimney to left; off-centre door to right. Several out houses also survive.
