What is recorded here

Enclosure in Mayo is a ghost boundary in County Laois, visible only when crops grow uneven across undulating ground. The land may have worn away its stones, but it still remembers the shape of the fence, holding a lost room open beneath the sky. A possible cairn to the northeast suggests people once marked the place, perhaps for burial, warning or wonder. The enclosure no longer resists the eye, yet it continues to divide the countryside into inside and outside.
