McCarthy (1991, 95) was informed that there was a mass rock in Dysert in the 1940s but it is now removed. Exact location not known. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 4: North Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2000).
