West Cork, Ireland. A man-made underground passage occupied the southern half of a ringfort now lost beneath levelled ground. Surveyors marked the cave on maps in 1842 and 1901, but human activity erased even its shadow. The passage may have served as a shelter, store or ritual path, yet no stone or entrance remains to testify.

In S half of now-levelled ringfort (CO139-010001-). Marked 'Cave' on OS 6-inch maps (1842; 1901). No visible surface trace.
