What is recorded here

Knockearagh holds a collapsed underground chamber inside an old rath, revealing itself only through a shallow oval depression near the centre. People may have dug beneath the mound to hide goods, avoid storms or perform rituals no longer remembered. The earth swallowed the passage, but it did not erase the intention behind the digging.

In a rath (KE067-008----). An oval depression (L 3m; Wth 2m; D c. 2m) to the NW of the centre of the rath may indicate a collapsed Man-made underground passage chamber.
