What is recorded here
In marshy ground, S of River Laney. Hartnett (1939, 47) mentioned the 'remains of... a Lisheen (8663) with a subterranean passage'. The passage had been infilled with stones but from local descriptions was of 'stone-lined, flag-roofed type'. No visible surface trace.
