What is recorded here

Situated in the NE centre and lowest point of a cashel (CL009-059056-), this Man-made underground passage comprises a NNE-SSW passage (L 3.35m; Wth 1m), entered through a small opening (H 0.45m) at SSW. From here the passage extends to NNE, sloping down and becoming more level (max. H 1.3m) before sloping up (H 0.9m) and reaching a rock-face (H 0.9m). The passage is roofed by seven lintels. Under the rock-face at the N end of the Man-made underground passage a low natural passage (L c. 2m) continues down (45°) to a probable chamber.
