Lispuckaun

Fairy fort / earthen ringfort

What is recorded here

Lispuckaun is a fairy fort in County Clare, an earthen ring where human history has thinned into myth. Its name still carries warning, suggesting the ground itself refuses ordinary ownership. People may have lived there before forgetting the rules, but the earth kept the shape and dropped the witnesses.
