In pasture. Circular area (32m N-S; 32m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (int.H 1.9m) SE->WNW; scarp elsewhere. Outer bank (H 1.8m) survives all round, separated from inner bank by intervening fosse; external fosse (D 0.7m) S->NW and to E. Banks heavily overgrown; gaps in outer bank to NW and SSW, latter blocked by stone wall. Earth and stone dumped along outer edge offosse S->NW. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 3: Mid Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997).
