RATH in Lisdead

RATH

What is recorded here

Lisdead holds a rath, an ancient earthwork where human hands shaped the Fermanagh landscape long before modern borders drew their lines. The site still stands as a rounded scar in the land, waiting for someone to walk its edge and imagine the lives that turned soil into structure.
The official Northern Ireland record identifies this as RATH. Recorded period: E.CHRIST.. The official map point was placed at the centre of the recorded archaeological site from the source map reference.

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
