This blue commemorative plaque records: Site of:- The Clock. Originally erected in 1902 as a Boer War Memorial. Original clock knocked down by a lorry in 1967. Recorded plaque organisation: Burntwood Chase Heritage Group.
The Clock, originally erected in 1902, served as a Boer War memorial and became a local landmark until the original clock was destroyed by a lorry in 1967.
