This green commemorative plaque records: This plaque honours the name of John Bradley, born in nearby Little Ribston. March 20, 1840 + The development of this playing field was provided by his daughter Mrs. Jennie Bradley Roessing, of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, U. S. A., 1946 - 1954 in co-operation with the Wetherby Parish Council. Joseph H. Hudson Chairman. Recorded plaque organisation: Wetherby Parish Council.
John Bradley, born on March 20, 1840, in Little Ribston, is remembered for his daughter Jennie Bradley Roessing's contribution to developing a local playing field between 1946 and 1954.
