On demense of Leamcon House; bridge over stream with lintelled rectangular chamber (H 1.8m; 4m E-W; 0.8m N-S) in core. Stream from N passes through lintelled ope (H 0.7m; Wth 0.36m); above this in horizontal line of three further lintelled opes (H 0.38m; Wth 0.55m); all give access to the central rectangular chamber. Stream exits to S through linteled ope (H 1.5m; Wth 0.4m) divided horizontally by thin sloping slab. Overflow channel through bridge to W. Upstream channel rock cut. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 1: West Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1992).
