Leacht in Inis Ní is a much-ruined burial chamber in a Galway graveyard, preserving only its western edge while the rest has collapsed into forgotten earth. It stands beside a cross-inscribed pillar, marking death and memory in a small island setting. The chamber may have held bodies, tools or prayers, but time has removed most of its shape. What remains is enough to show that the place was made for the dead and for the people who loved them.

This much-ruined leacht (2.5m N-S; 2.3m E-W) is located in the graveyard (GA050-011002-). Only its W side is clearly defined; the other three are all disturbed. A cross-inscribed pillar (GA050-011004-) is associated. Compiled by: Olive Alcock Date of upload: 8 August 2016
