Marked as a rectangular embanked enclosure (ext. dims c. 45m E-W; c. 25m N-S) which is truncated at N by an E-W section of the River Suck on the 1837 ed. of the OS 6-inch map, and situated on the S bank of the river. This is a rectangular area (dims 50m E-W; 22.5m N-S) defined by the remains of moats (Wth 2.4m) marked by bands of reeds on the E and S sides, and by the river at N, but the perimeter cannot be traced at W.
