What is recorded here

Indicated is a fairy fort in County Mayo, an earthen ring where human history has thinned to myth. The soil may have swallowed kitchens, hearths and arguments, leaving only a rounded scar visible when wet. Locals may have avoided it at dusk, not from fear but respect for the dead whose names disappeared. The fort still marks the boundary between memory and forgetting.
