situated in a bay (dims c. 250m NE-SW; c. 100-c. 160m NW-SE) on the NW shore of Lough Avaghon, a subrectangular lake (dims c. 850m NW-SE; c. 650m NE-SW). It is depicted as a small island only on the 1907 edition of the OS 6-inch map. This is a small overgrown cairn (diam. c. 10m) incorporating some rock outcrop but no artificial features are recorded.
