Indicated is a small stony crannog floating thirty metres from the shore of Keshcarrigan Lough, marked by a faint timber palisade and a submerged wooden raft. Radiocarbon dating places human activity there between 1045 and 1214, when the lough likely held life rather than forgetting it. The causeway still points toward the water, inviting imagination about the hands that built it and the days they spent beside the reeds.

Located c. 30m from the SW shore of the subrectangular Keshcarrigan Lough (dims c. 1km NW-SE; c. 550m NE-SW). This is an overgrown, circular, stony island (diam. 15m; H 0.3m) with some evidence of a timber palisade visible at NW, and it is connected to the shore by a causeway (LE028-028002-) at SW. This is a path that appears to be a naturalA programme of radiocarbon dating undertaken by the Discovery Programme produced a date of 890 +- 20 BP (AD 1045-1214) from wood taken from the crannog (O’Conor and Fredengren 2019, 91). gravel ridge (L c. 30m) c 1m below the water level, with a wooden raft (dims c. 6m x c. 1m) in its central area.
