What is recorded here

Laghta or Carn is a lost wayside cairn beside the Clifden to Cleggan road in County Galway. It stood near Abhainn Leacht an Aba, marked in local memory before disappearing from the land. The place still carries a shape of human attention, even though no stone remains for a hand to touch.

On E verge of Clifden to Cleggan road close to W bank of Abhainn Leacht an Aba. Represented in name only on 1st ed. of OS but named and indicated on 2nd ed. (1898). No visible surface trace survives.
