Lackanamona holds a narrow underground passage beside a ringfort, revealing how people shaped the earth for hidden movement or storage. A harvesting machine broke the soil in 1993, exposing a one-metre opening that dropped nearly as deep before turning southeast. The passage is so tight that only a thin body or small object could enter it, suggesting cunning rather than grandeur.

In tillage, c. 140m NE of ringfort (CO033-032---). Opening (diam. 1m; D 0.9m) discovered in 1993 during harvesting; small 'passage' (Wth 0.1m) appears to extend to SE.
