What is recorded here

Gallán is a subrectangular standing stone in County Cork, Ireland, rising 0.87m on a south-facing pasture slope. It predates the 1842 survey map, marking human presence before official recording. The stone aligns northwest to southeast, possibly guiding sunlight or marking territory. Its quiet endurance suggests people once gathered here, reading meaning in shape and shadow long before measurement.
