What is recorded here
Kyleballynamoe holds a vanished settlement cluster where earthen banks and platforms once lined a hollow-road. Local memory names the field Tatterstreet, but ploughing erased every visible mark before inspection in 1987. The cluster may have served as a modest trading or living place, yet its exact role and dates remain unknown.
According to local information this field was known as 'Tatterstreet' and there had been earthen banks and platforms along a 'hollow-road'. Before field inspection in 1987 the field had been recently reclaimed and ploughed and no earthworks were visible at ground level.
