What is recorded here

Marked only on the 1837 ed. of the OS 6-inch map as a subrectangular cairn feature (dims c. 35m N-S; c. 20m E-W) described in gothic lettering as a 'Carn', and situated on the low-lying, level landscape of a reclaimed lake c. 20m SE of an unnamed well or swallow-hole. It is not visible at ground level in pasture. The cairns (RO017-123001-; RO017-123002-) are c. 90m to the SW. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 24 August 2010
