Gallows Fort is a vanished ringfort in County Mayo, Ireland, remembered only through a name preserved on official maps. It likely measured thirty-eight metres across and held lives, losses and routines now erased from the ground. The gallows in its name suggests fear, judgment or public violence, though no structure remains to prove which.

In pasture, on gentle E-facing slope. Shown on all eds of OS map as 'Gallows Fort' (est. max. diam. c. 38m). Levelled; no visible surface traces. Possibly a ringfort.
