Grave Yard stands on the south bank of the Owennadarrydivva, immediately southeast of Newport town in County Mayo. Eighteenth and nineteenth-century headstones scatter across forty metres of damp earth beside a ruined church whose walls still lean into the sky. The dead have watched the river carry life past them for centuries, unchanged and patient.

Located on the S bank of the Owennadarrydivva or Newport River, immediately to SE of Newport town. This Church of Ireland graveyard (c. 40m NNW–SSE; c. 44m ENE-WSW) containing 18th- and 19th-century headstones. There is a ruined 18th-century church (MA068-014001-) in the N half of the graveyard.
