In pasture on N-facing slope. Raised circular area (diam. c. 40m SW-NE) enclosed by low earthen bank (H 0.2m) to N; field fence (H 0.9m) to E, stone faced externally; low rise to S; bank (H 1.6m) to SW; low overgrown rise to W. Laneway skirts bank to E; ruined stone building outside bank toSW. Interior slopes up towards centre, planted with trees to E. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 1: West Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1992).
