What is recorded here

Knappagh Beg and Abbeyquarter still carry the castle name, though no clear tower or chamber remains visible. The land may have held a small fort, a boundary marker, or a household whose stones scattered into field walls and road cuts. People lived around that lost centre, perhaps watching the quarter roads or keeping herds near Rathedmond. The missing shape does not erase the castle; it invites you to imagine the hands that built and abandoned it.
