Pitched artificial slate roof, uPVC gutters on painted timber fascia c. 2000. Squared and coursed limestone walling to upper floors. Square-headed window openings, limestone sills, uPVC casement windows c. 2000. Painted timber shopfront, recessed panel pilasters, fascia sign with individual lettering terminating in fluted pedimented consoles and with dentilled cornice. Painted timber glazed entrance door with slender fixed light to west and plate glass display window to east c. 2000. Street fronted.
This building retains fine stonework to the upper floors and a shopfront that successfully blends contemporary and traditional elements. It makes a positive contribution to the streetscape and successfully acts as a vista stop at the north end of Market Street.
