This blue commemorative plaque records: This Greek revival facade of 1833, designed by Henry R. Abraham (c.1803-77), once formed part of the Hull & East Riding School of Medicine & Anatomy. The school was founded in 1831 & closed in 1869. Restored by Beal Homes in 2003. Recorded plaque organisation: Hull Civic Society.
Henry R. Abraham (c.1803-77) was an architect known for his Greek revival designs, notably the facade of the Hull & East Riding School of Medicine and Anatomy, contributing to the architectural heritage of Hull.
