RATH in Kiltierney

RATH

What is recorded here

Kiltierney still holds the buried line of a Rath, though no wall now breaks the sky. Earth may have swallowed the fence, hidden the gate and erased the shape that once marked a life in County Fermanagh. What is lost is not nothing; it is the difference between a field and a place where someone stood before the world forgot them.
The official Northern Ireland record identifies this as RATH. Recorded period: E.CHRIST.. The official map point was placed at the centre of the recorded archaeological site from the source map reference.

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
