Freestanding mausoleum, c.1880, on a rectangular plan. Pinnacle topped limestone flagged "slated" roof. Tooled coursed or snecked limestone walls with clasping buttresses to corners. Four centre-headed door opening with hood moulding. Set in grounds of Saint Beacon's Church (Kilpeacon).

This mausoleum houses the remains of the Westropp and Stacpoole families and is an important element of the funerary architecture of County Limerick. The mausoleum is treated as a miniature church and compliments the Gothic Revivalism of the adjacent Saint Beacon's Church (Kilpeacon). A cut-limestone panel is inscribed: ""WE KNOW THAT IS OUR EARTHLY HOUSE OF/THIS TABERNACLE WERE DISSOLVED WE HAVE/A BUILDING OF GOD AN [sic] HOUSE NOT MADE WITH/HANDS ETERNAL IN THE HEAVENS"" while later plaques are dedicated: ""In memory of/RALPH HUGH WESTROPP/Born 26th August 1844/Died 31st October 1902"" and ""In Memory of/Lt. GEORGE WILLIAM STACPOOLE ----/Died 10th September 1939/Youngest Son of RICHARD STACPOOLE/of Edenvale Co. Clare"".
