Detached three-bay two-storey gate lodge, built c.1880, having gabled half-dormer windows to front (south-east) and lean-to extension to rear (north-west). Pitched slate roof having terracotta ridge cresting with end finials, timber bargeboards to gables, rendered chimneystack and cast-iron rainwater goods. Rendered walls throughout. Square-headed window openings with rendered sills, having replacement timber casement windows to front elevation and one-over-one pane timber sliding sash windows to side (north-east) elevation. Square-headed door openings with glazed timber door to front elevation and timber battened door to rear. Square-profile rendered gate piers and walls with cast-iron gates.
