Embanked enclosure

Embanked enclosure is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Kilmurry, County Roscommon, Ireland. It occupies a slight rise in an undulating landscape as a circular grass-covered area thirty-three metres wide east to west and thirty-two point seven metres north to south. A scarp rising from point seven to one point one metres and a berm three to eight metres wide define the boundary, while ramp entrances at the east and west break the ring.
