What is recorded here
Kilmoyle Church stood in County Antrim during the medieval period, its graveyard holding generations before memory faded. The land remains scheduled, preserving the shape of a worship place now reduced to suggestion beneath grass and rain. Whatever prayers echoed there belonged to ordinary people, naming God in a small valley and trusting the stones to outlast them.
The official Northern Ireland record identifies this as CHURCH & GRAVEYARD ON SITE OF MEDIEVAL CHURCH: KILMOYLE CHURCH. Recorded period: UNCERTAIN; MEDIEVAL. Recorded protection: Scheduled. The official map point was placed at the centre of the recorded archaeological site from the source map reference.
The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
