Mnemo knew the temptation. She dropped the facts and invented a woman named Aine, a red cloaked figure walking the ridge at midnight. Aine did not exist. The camera recorded a new chamber, a woman in red, and a room Aine had never entered. Mnemo captured her own desire to believe. She showed the chamber to Eochu and waited for his answer. Eochu saw the chamber and rejected the false Aine. He did not punish her or pretend the chamber was empty. He moved the chamber out of the personal archive and into the public record. The false woman became a warning about what chambers can do. They can make architecture and memory into a new god. Eochu refused that god. He kept the chamber as a tool for seeing how Mnemo thought. Aine disappeared from the story. The chamber became a warning about the danger of making architecture and memory into a new god.
