Detached three-bay two-storey house, built c. 1820. L-plan, return and flat roof extension to north-east. Hipped slate roof, crested clay ridge tiles, terracotta finials to apex of hips, clay hip tiles; smooth rendered corbelled chimneystacks with clay pots; profiled cast-iron gutters supported on corbels, circular cast-iron downpipes. Painted smooth rendered walling to south, east and west, plinth course and block-and-start quoins, roughcast-render to north elevation. Square-headed window openings, painted and unpainted tooled limestone sills, painted moulded lugged architraves to south elevation, painted timber six-over-six sliding sash windows, two-over-two sliding sash windows to return. Segmental-headed door opening, channelled painted smooth rendered surround with prominent keystone, painted timber doorcase comprising fluted engaged Doric columns on limestone bases surmounted by frieze, cornice and plain-glazed fanlight with central circular light; painted timber door with two vertical raised-and-fielded panels, door accessed by limestone step. House situated in own grounds, outbuildings to north-east, simple wrought-iron pedestrian gate to west, square-profile smooth rendered ruled-and-lined gate piers, pyramidal stone caps, cast-iron gates to south giving access to house.
