Killuney holds a Rath, an ancient earthwork built by human hands long before modern borders drew their clean lines. The platform rises slightly above the surrounding ground, shaping a boundary that invited residence, defence or ceremony. People may have lived there, watched the sky or marked ownership of the land. The soil remembers the weight of those choices even when every name has faded from the world.
