What is recorded here
Upslope from KE080-051----, on the E bank of the river, in dense forestry. A group of three huts set within an old field system KE080-052003-. Most of the field walls have collapsed, leaving in places a series of individual uprights. Perhaps one of these was mistakenly identified as a standing stone.
The above description is derived from A. O'Sullivan and J. Sheehan (compilers), 'The Iveragh peninsula: an archaeological survey of South Kerry'. Cork University Press (1996), no. 1327. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
