Enclosure in Killeany — Report the wrong picture

Killeany is an invisible hilltop enclosure in County Laois, judged from cropmarks rather than stones. It stands beside a ringfort, suggesting a settled place that stopped being shown instead of disappearing. The land may still hold its shape beneath grass, waiting for dry soil or a changed season to remember the circle.

Situated on a hill-top. Cropmark of subcircular enclosure visible on aerial photographs (CUCAP, APA 30-1). No visible surface remains. A ringfort (LA023-019001-) lies immediately to NW.
