In low-lying poorly drained land, to SE of the River Shannon and Abbey River and E of the medieval Irish town of Limerick City. Not depicted on OS historic mapping. According to the NMI topographical files, a cist containing a crouched skeleton was found on a building site in 1936 (Irish Independent January 1936).
