What is recorded here

Outside the Kildrinagh ringfort, buried bodies once lay beneath soil now indistinguishable from ordinary Irish earth. Carrigan recorded the site in 1905, but no marker, mound or memory remains to show where the dead rested. The field may have swallowed its own history, leaving behind only the possibility that human hands shaped the ground before forgetting it entirely.

Not marked on the 1841 or 1909 editions of the OS 6-inch map. Reference to burials located outside the ringfort (LA016-023005-) (Carrigan 1905, vol. 2, 180). No visible surface remains.
