The Mile Bush is a ritual site (holy tree or bush) in Kilcarroon, County Tipperary, Ireland. The name is probably a corruption of bile, the Irish word for sacred tree. The original bush no longer exists, but local tradition still respects its location on the summit of a steep hill, and several unsuccessful attempts have been made to replant a blackthorn there. A large sand quarry immediately to the west has removed a large portion of the hill, yet the site remains marked on both the 1840 and 1907 edition Ordnance Survey maps.
