Graveslab in Kilbride (ida By.) stands in County Kilkenny as a buried marker of death and memory. The exact shape, age and owner remain unknown, but the designation suggests a human life ended there and was recorded in stone. Perhaps a farmer, traveller or child fell during rain or fever, and neighbours laid a flat slab above the grave before forgetting the name. Kilbride keeps that loss without explanation, waiting for someone to read the silence and answer it.
