What is recorded here

A mound investigated in 1952 by the NMI after partial destruction by quarrying. Finds included two comb fragments, and a fragment of bronze wire. Dark soil, possibly habitation refuse, was also noted (NMI Topographical file). Compiled by: Gearóid Conroy Date of upload: 10 June 2011
