On S side of Shelburne Street, Kenmare. Named Bridewell on 1846 OS 6-inch map. Two-storey, limestone ashlar-built structure. Front of seven bays; central hipped breakfront of three bays with central doorway. Pair of lunette windows at ground floor level in bay on either side of breakfront. Hipped roof. Recent extensions to left and right. Built c. 1835 (Dúchas 1995). In use as Garda Station.
